1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the WebDev LK platform ("the Service"), operated by KDJ Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

WebDev LK is an AI-powered website builder that generates professional websites from users' social media profiles (including LinkedIn, GitHub, Instagram, and Facebook). The Service includes:

  • AI-generated website creation based on provided social profiles
  • Free subdomain hosting (e.g., yoursite.webdev.lk)
  • Custom domain support (Pro plan)
  • Automated SSL certificate provisioning
  • AI-powered content updates and maintenance
  • Lead capture and analytics

3. User Accounts

To use the Service, you must create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. You must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent to use the Service.

4. Free and Pro Plans

WebDev LK offers a Free plan and a paid Pro plan:

  • Free plan: Includes AI website generation, a webdev.lk subdomain, and 5 AI-powered changes per month at no cost.
  • Pro plan: Priced at LKR 200 per month (or LKR 1,500 per year). Includes unlimited AI changes, custom domain support, SSL, priority support, and auto-maintenance.
  • All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR). We accept bank transfers within Sri Lanka.
  • Pro subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. Refunds are provided at management's discretion on a case-by-case basis.

5. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence models (including OpenRouter and DeepSeek) to generate website content based on your social profiles and instructions. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, errors, or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and approving all content before publication.
  • You retain full ownership of your website content.
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from AI-generated content on your site.
  • You must not use the Service to generate illegal, harmful, deceptive, or discriminatory content.

6. Intellectual Property

The WebDev LK platform, including its software, design, branding, and underlying technology, is the intellectual property of KDJ Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute the platform. Content you provide (social profiles, images, text) remains your property, and you grant us a limited licence to process it for the purpose of building and maintaining your website.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Sri Lankan law, KDJ Lanka (Pvt) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these terms, engage in illegal activity, or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your use of the Service is harmful to the platform or other users. Upon termination, your websites will be taken offline. You may request data export within 30 days of termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
